Reserving was easy, pricing was great, staff was friendly and professional. When I arrived to store my items it was easy to enter, the facility was extremely clean, covered unloading area was a great perk.

Super quick, super friendly

Was able to complete the paperwork online in about 5 minutes. The day i went to the facility, my gate and door code was not working. Went to the front desk, they helped me out quickly (as quick as the system would let them). They joked around and i was all set in no time.

Good service, good prices

This is very much convenient. The storage units are clean and fully weather-proofed. They are secure as you get an access code. They also provide their locks. The only thing I did not like is that the insurance is mandatory.

The process from calling to inquire to the actual moving in was very good.

I thought Kaylee was very personable and our paperwork was executed in a very efficient manner. I appreciated the accommodations in the welcome packet, particularly the opener for the lock assembly. I thought it was thoughtfully assembled to inform the tenant as to the building in which the unit was located.

Erica, our LifeStorage rep, was amazing. She was very informative.

The carts that are available to help move contents in and out of the unit are extremely convenient. It made moving our contents even easier. Our unit is conveniently placed and very easy to get to. Excellent Everything!

Clean, secure, great location. Best part of my experience was the professionalism, courteous, knowledgeable, efficient Assistant Manager who went above and beyond during my stressful move-in. She immediately understood my anxiety and was compassionate and empathetic. She made sure that my paperwork was ready to sign when I arrived, changed my previously assigned unit to one that my movers could access more quickly (saving me $), and more. She went way out of her way to make the storage part of my move seamless.

First time using a self storage

This place is great! The unit was air conditioned and nicely maintained. It was very clean and ready on the day. The receptionist was very friendly and showed me exactly how to operate the gate and the key. From my research, these units are priced much more fairly in comparison to others of this quality in town. I am very happy with the service I have received from LifeStorage!

clean, helpful, & convenient

We have been using this facility for a month now and we could not be happier with this decision! The climate control is the best, and had the lowest temperature then any place we looked at in the area. We are very satisfied with the late hours and the early open time. We are happy with the staff who is very cautious of who enters and exits the facilities, it is nice to know our belongings are so safe.

Bit pricy, understaffed, but safe facility

The facility is clean, the place is well-lit, and security is adequate. However, they are understaffed, and when I showed up to sign my paperwork the day of my move nobody was in the front office. This was 1.5 hours after they were supposed to have been open for the day. There was a sign on the door saying the manager was out on the property and would be back at 10:05--40 minutes away. I couldn't wait, so I had to come back later, after numerous unsuccessful phone calls to the various numbers provided. This put my move an hour behind schedule, and it was an added hassle on an already stressful moving day. The woman who manages the desk is well-intentioned, but it seems that additional staff is necessary. If you choose LifeStorage/Alcove, plan to start your lease term a day in advance of when you actually need to move so that you don't get behind schedule with U-Haul, your moving company, etc. Also be prepared to pay a $15 lock fee, $30 administrative fee, and $20 monthly renter's insurance fee in addition to your estimated monthly rent (variable depending on size).

We totally lucked out with this place. Though we did end up renting directly through them to take advantage of the first month free deal, we thank sparefoot for guiding us to them. The place is clean, climate controlled, and priced right. If you need storage in SM, this is your place.
