Good start but bad price increase
I have 2 units, for 2 households. Everything was fine until after only 6 months they increase the first unit by $136 a month. Haven't got the increase on the 2nd unit yet as we've only had it 3 months. I am currently looking for another place.

So far so good.
So far I am happy with Public Storage. I moved my belongings from Self storage because after 3 months they raised my rent an extra 130 dollars. I was assured that would not happen here.
Hopefully it won't happen and I will be able to relax until I find a permanent place for the stuff that I unfortunately inherited from a family tragedy.

Cheap & easy
I like that it was fast and easy, the price was right, drove out of my way for the price. I don't like that you have to get out and put in the gate code again to get out of the gate, however understandably so since they have vehicles stored their also.All in all "EASIEST" storage facility I've had in a long time.

Disappointed in billing system
Great customer service & very helpful employees however no discount on multiple storage rentals offered but would be a ? if offered also horrible billing system no matter when you start renting your storages they charge for the whole month.I rented 3 storages on the 12th day of the month and the new bill for all three storages would again be due on the first of the next month however a better system would be since I paid for rental of storage space on the 12th I should not have been billed again until the 12th of the next month for a full month of rental.

Scott is cool funny and very helpful i just dont like how old the storage looks kinda has an oder i upgraded to a bigger storage same problem only different from the first one was my new storage had rat poison in every corner so now i kinda walk on my tippy toes ..... I HATE RATS!

Recovered Stolen Car
I was informed after having been missing and thought gone forever that my car had been stolen for almost a true five years. The late night phone call from the Sheriff's Department announced that they had found it. I couldn't believe it! I was shocked to say the least and could not sleep the entire night wondering how I would go about secure the vehicle knowing that I needed to act swiftly because I was two states away and knew that every additional day the car was not moved out of the towing yard, the charges would grow exponentially. I first called mom & pop storage facility's and quickly was turned down. My vehicle title, which I had left in storage in Washington State, I never thought a million years, I would see this vehicle again, so carrying the document with me seemed overly pretentious. However, when I presented my dire situation to the lady's at Tacoma South and North offices - Rebecca and Dee. They quickly went into action. They bounced off of each other to make sure that I could get my car into one of either of their properties. Prior to calling the local offices I had reserved a 10x20 space on your website, I believe it made my request a little easier showing this prior commitment. They told me that since my case was a bit extraordinary, they would allow the exception and went forward in trying to secure the already reserved space. Unfortunately, the vehicle that occupied the space I reserved, even though it showed it reserved, also reported that the new owner could not move it for another 3 days, so there was nowhere for my car to be placed. This proved to be a sticking point since there was also no 10x20 space at the North Public Storage site. Long story shortened; the two put their heads together and said they could get me into a 10x20 storage garage for $1.00 the first month and $201 thereafter. This is the route we followed through with to immediately place and secure the vehicle from the towing facility without compounding further impound fees. My only thought or complaint would be that while a reservation could be taken via your website, the reservation was not worthy of an actual empty space for me to truly occupy. Otherwise, nonetheless, a solution to the problem was found. Mission accomplished. The two lady's were exemplary throughout the process, They never lost sight or focus of the main objective. Ultimately, I save not only a huge amount of money but also time - I did not have to book an immediate flight out to secure my car. It is now safely housed inside your well guarded facility. This gives me great peace of mind. Thank you once again. Best Regards,

I want to thank PS for having a wonderful employee named Lorena property # 08255. I was in need of storing my furniture as soon as possible and...Lorena was there to answer all my questions and take care of my needs. I was not aware that the property had an on-site manager 24 X 7. I immediately felt safe and very secure knowing my items would be guarded. Most important, I was very pleased by Lorena's smile and personality. She was outgoing and very pleasant. PS is very fortunate in having her in there employ. I'm glad I picked Public Storage.

Great facility at a great price!
When I started looking for a storage facility I was shocked at how varied the prices were dependent on where the location was and the company. First I looked in Renton and then Lakewood because we moved from Lakewood to Renton. Was i ever surprised to find that prices in Renton were more than double that of Lakewood. I was also very happy to find on-line internet special which saved me a bundle. My only complaint is that the web site does not tell you to make sure and bring a lock for the facility or you are forced to buy one of theirs for a pretty steep price. The internet also did not warn you of the requirement to pay a monthly insurance fee. So beware.
