Sign your stuff away and they can change the price on you at anytime.

There are NOT ENOUGH CARTS to move my stuff into the unit that I rented. I had to wait over an hour for someone else to get done moving into their rental to get there cart. The elevators are not equipped to handle high traffic and close the doors on you and your stuff takes ride up and down floors without you. I paid by the hour 4 men to help me load and unload into the facility and they we standing around waiting for carts to be free. The elevators are not equipped to take you down to the first floor without you having to close the door and then pushing the first floor. If you are going up you have to punch in your long access code then the floor when it should already know where I am going. Also it seems high security but as I leave someone else can just drive in without a code. Plus, they charge you for a specific lock and it is just cheap storage aluminum bendable doors. The contracts are long and basically you sign a lot of paperwork to say that they are not responsible and that you can’t sue them. I won’t be back once I leave.

for the price the service is terrible

This place hiked up the price twice in the year I was there, and their automatic lights almost never worked. So I was stuck in a dark empty corner trying to unload/load things. They also give your a pro-rated rate for the month you sign up (so they get every dollar out of you), but won't pro-rate when you leave. So you have to pay a full month even if you're not using the unit the majority of the month. And their customer service was not helpful when I lost my key.

Super easy and friendly staff. The storage unit itself is a bit stuffy and warm as it's close to the lake, but they recommended a moisture capture bucket which was cheap and overall the price is really good for the space. It would be nice to have more carts for moving stuff as most seemed busy.

Efficient service

I was in the office not more than a few minutes when the manager greeted me and gave me the information of how their storage place operated. I was given a tour of the site and all relevant workings of how to navigate through the security system. Where the storage unit I was going to rent was and what I was expect. I was given a cylinder lock I needed to have and if I prefered I could use my own lock to use also if I wished. All in all it was an efficient on boarding to my renting a locker. The young man that assisted me was extremely helpful and patient. The storage facility was clean and well lighted. However, I felt like there were a lot of hidden fees that cropped up while I was signing up for a unit. These included an administrative fee, as well as the requirement to sign up for insurance. These fees were not shown on the website (that I could find) and ups the price of the unit that is not apparent at first.

Clean/safe units, but inaccessible during convenient hours due to improved security. I hope Public Storage is able to come to a solution to the evening security problem (hire more guards?) not at the cost of convenience to its patrons. I'm willing to pay a little more to have improved evening access to my belongings.

Dub and Rodney were extremely helpful and friendly. I got a unit online and within minutes received a phone call from Dub. I walked down to this storage unit and was able to check out a variety of units from Rodney and pick the right one for my company's needs. Not only does this public storage allow you to reserve a key at the location for multiple people to have access, but you can also have packages delivered directly to the unit. SO thankful that this storage space has friendly and inviting people, as well as a well structured plan to fit individual's/company's storage unit needs.

It's a storage facility. No bells or whistles. Prices seem to be slowly increasing... Access after 9pm would be extremely appreciated. Also, shorter codes. You have to punch a 9 digit code to get in, punch it to get up an elevator every time and punch it to get out. It's just bothersome.

I needed to store some of my things for a short term basis during the transition period of my move. When I called the customer service number, they were able to find me a unit that met my needs, and presented me with the most affordable options. I was impressed with their flexibility for move in appointments at the facility I chose. When I was greeted at the public storage, I was given a thorough tour, and breakdown of the policies and procedures.

Overall well done! my only dislike is that I was not quoted or told there was an online deal and the operator or sales person did not inform me of that which saved five almost 5 dollars a month! Also was not told about the required insurance online or by the sales operator found out at the storage unit by the manager!

I have used several storage facilities before, including this specific location for 4 years before I left the area a year ago. Now I'm back, and happy to utilize their clean storage facility that is easy to access (now that the roads leading up to the I-5 interchange south of the location on Fairview are mostly out of construction). I've had 3 other experiences with alternate storage locations throughout the US, and this location is by far the best I've used. +Pros o Friendly and easy to contact management o Clean facility o Sufficient Parking to load/unload o Available units throughout =Neutral o Location - while it's definitely easier to access since 2014, it's still Seattle! o Cost of units - I wouldn't put this under Cons, just for the fact that it is a little expensive, but the cost is right in line with the location. I can't complain. -Cons o N/A - it fits my needs, and more.

We had to move unexpectedly and needed a large unit right away. That was easy to get and affordable. We booked online and got $1 for the first month. The facility was easy to get to and has great security. The unit we got was one of the bigger ones and it fit almost everything from our 2bedroom apartment. We have a lot of stuff. After we found a new place 2 weeks later we asked about moving into a smaller unit and that process was easy and painless as well.

I had a great experience with Public Storage. I booked my unit online for the additional discount and arrived at the main office to register the day prior to my move. The staff was prompt and polite. I was set up within 10 minutes and shown my reserved unit. Upon arrival the next day, I was greeted and escorted to my unit to switch out the lock. Overall, I felt the entire process was quick and painless.
