As a new customer, I can assure you that this facility truly goes above and beyond to delight its customers. Let's start with the units themselves- maintained with indoor lighting,my unit is perfect for accommodating items up to 8by10. The locks utilized by this facility are cut-proof, and with a little oiling, lock holders remain secure. This provided me with the peace of mind I needed. The facility's location is another highlight, nestled alongside My City Forest. This non-profit organization and their volunteers plant trees and shrubbery for the community in Santa Clara County, It is located next to a large field that is environmentally protected for the safety of Native Burrowing Owls, the field does have Field Mice which is expected, management does it’s best to control the critters. Overall, if you are looking for a cost effective storage facility that prioritizes security and environmental responsibility, this is the place to choose. I highly recommend it and cannot wait to see how it meets your storage needs!

Noth moving trucks were broken dwn and I still had to pay full price when then the whole reason I chose this facility was because of the moving truck since I dnt own one myself. Very very big disappointment. They're not even scheduled to be fixed until July 15th... WTF!!!

A lil conflicted

The ppl were great the facility is great BUT BUT BUT I rented this particular facility because I DO NOT own or have access to a truck and they advertised that they had one for the size unit I was renting well long story short, both of the facilities trucks were broken down and not scheduled to be fixed until July 15th!!! WTF.... JULY!!?!?!?!?! So now I have 2 rent a truck which was not in the plan. Oh and btw the 1st mnth is not free, the 2nd mnth is free with your AAA membership.

The 1st day I arrived at the storage site wasn't the best because they were closed due to no staffing available. So I had to come back after 2:30pm to get the unit & drove 30 minutes back home it was inconvenient to go back & forth. Anyway, the associate was super nice, courteous & very helpful if it wasn't for that I probably left & wouldn't come back since I've had a inconvenience earlier already but I'm glad she was real nice and decided to get the unit..

Everything up to when I went to sign up was great. No-one there (out at lunch but not back by posted time) so used kiosk which was hard to hear but okay. Gate code was supposed to work in a few minutes, never worked the whole day, got stuck inside (followed someone because code didn't work). Two lights in unit; neither worked (unloaded in darkness). Have emailed about them, no response. Came by the next day (Saturday) to give AAA card. Hours were until 2pm. I got there at 1:13pm; it was closed. So far hasn't been a very good experience (we have two other storage sheds at different facilities--this is poorest overall--price is better than one of our others, but worse than the other).

Cheaper than other places but ...

Overall a good basic storage place. The area does not seem "locked down" meaning it seems kind of exposed. A lot of foot traffic in and out of unit and it is very easy to piggy back in the gate in back of another car entering or exiting. Tip: Make sure you ask for and receive the advertised one month free rent offer at sign-up. I thought I was going to get a one month credit the next month as advertised but when inquired they told me I should received that at sign-in and there was nothing to be done after the fact.

The day I showed to sign paperwork the office employee had to go to the hospital so the office was closed the day early... I entered all my info through the computer kios. After completing it all and being given a gate code it didn;t work have to wait till the next day

This facility is one that I highly recommend. The attendant was very helpful and extremely nice. I was assured of the security of the facility because of the fact that the attendant had offered police officers a discount to entice enhanced security. Since then, she told me that she's had 0 problems with theft, soliciting, and loitering. I highly recommend Central self storage for all of your storage unit needs.

I reserved a small unit,then went into git a bigger unit.The person in the office that day was excellent with my son and I,as he explain everything to us.The very next day I realized we didn't need that big of a unit.I was worried because some places aren't to happy to have to renew the paper work,or get irritated with customers like myself.The gentleman was smiling and happy go lucky to help us with the situation.Also it was jus a few minutes before time to close,an was still working on making us a satisfied happy renter..

No complaints about Central Self Storage. They were very accommodating with great customer service! Only negatives were: - When we showed up at the office to sign paperwork, management was on a 1 hour lunch break! So we had to wait around a long time for them to come back. Once they were back, it was a quick process - It's a little confusing that there are two facilities right across the street from each other - There was a bizarrely large number of people there at 8pm on a Saturday night, and it sounded like someone was using a drumset in one of the units. Do people live, or party there? Not sure, but won't be going back on a Saturday evening.

I reserved my space online after contacting several other storage spaces. It's in an ideal location! 1.5 miles from work! Fred was very friendly and helpful through out the paperwork process.
