Price good, location great, but service was poor

I reserved my spot using spare foot with a confirmation number, but was told that didn’t matter. The employee from the storage unit was like we’re having issues with our computers and that I could not move in. This was extremely inconvenient because I had a 26 ft truck I hired with movers just waiting... I asked if we can at least get started and I would give her any information she needed, but again I was met with a no. I was extremely understanding but agitated with the lack of compromise. Instead of the employee taking responsibility for the issue on her behalf she kept hiding behind Covid 19 sating everything is messed up so too bad.. luckily it was a minor delay before the computers worked and she was able to complete my booking. Over all not to be mean but there was 0 advantage to booking though a 3rd party. It honestly almost cost me thousands in delays. My recommendation is to add payment ahead of time or work on better communication this could easily been a disaster, I considered myself very lucky but annoyed of feeling helpless.

Having a unit over 4 years at Storage Direct I would definitely recommend their facility to anyone. The property was always well maintained and considerate to my unforeseen accommodations during my 2 moves over the years.
