Prime Storage - Queens - 180th St

A clean place with hospitable employees!!!

The last facility I used in Brooklyn was so awful that the rats got in and chewed up all my clothes. However this storage company keeps the place very clean and I believe my things are safe. The employees are always helpful and courteous. It's so nice to deal with folks that don't take their bad day out on the customers. Yes, I really like this place!

Amazing customer service with exceptional pricing your and review of contract… thank you … also I actually made reservations with extra space storage and they were closed on a Sunday and did not show that on their website so I pulled up with a truck. So then I scanned the Internet and found you guys I called the number nice gentleman help me reserved it and then I pulled up and unpacked my stuff and you guys saved today thank you so much it’s hard living on your own in New York City let alone moving by yourself I do wish the single file by fives were on the lower ground however I still manage to get everything I needed to do to your steps which we easily to be used thank you so much

Will and Howard both were courteous, pleasant and extremely helpful. They both took the time to explain their storage policies clearly.Very patient with customers and very helpful with customers transitioning my items to storage. Tired of price increases

It's a good place to store ur things however the biggest issue I'm having is they keep going on up there prices every few months. Makes no sense at all. Nothing is changing for the customer that matches with these increases. The bathroom is horrible.

Not Bad but could be better

1)Staff is relatively friendly and they do their jobs for the most part 2) I switched units, from a smaller unit to a larger unit. I wasn't offered a promotion because I was a current customer (I thought you should try to retain customer relationships, instead I felt like I was being penalized for being an existing loyal customer) 3) The unit i switched to is isolated in a wing of the building that has one elevator. The elevator was taken out of service while I am currently moving things. It took my son and I nearly three hours to move six 9ft storage posts up the staircase on Monday 3/8. 3hrs! I have 48 pallets coming from California this week and I am praying the elevator will be fixed by then. The manager, Felicia did offer to accommodate my freight in another unit until the elevator is fixed (Which is greatly appreciated) However, I was NOT OFFERED A DISCOUNT ON THE RENT FOR THE INCONVENIENCE!!! 4) Extremely COLD up on the 6th floor, especially on cold weather days. NO HEAT AT ALL... Freezing! 5) Lastly, not happy with the fact that this storage facility is only open until 7pm weekdays and 5/6pm Weekends. This is why I wouldn't recommend anyone to this facility. It's in a very convenient location for me, but the hours are horrible, especially for a working person. I have to rush there after work, to try and get things done. Terrible inconvenience

I've been an on going Customer Since 2011 and I'm Still a Customer. Nice Respectful staff. Some of my belongings have been chewed up by mice/rats but other then that they've been safe! It was called Treasure Island when I started renting so that's how long I've been with them & I would still to tell people to choose them!

Does Not Honor Advertized Policies

This company is not responsive, and does not honor the terms on its website. I need a place to temporarily park my car. Despite it meeting the posted requirements on their website, they refused to let me park it, and no one answers their customer service number despite multiple calls. Take your money somewhere else where they won’t change the rules on you. [As an update, I did manage eventually to speak with customer service. It seems the issue is being referred to a regional manager, and there will be an update within two business days. We’ll see.]
