Zero Room Lighting
The storage hallway or corridor space had zero lighting which forced us to work in the dark and using our cell flashlights. We immediately reported the issue and, the front desk guy told us we'd have to wait on the maintenance staff which was not helpful, especially since one needs both hands to efficiently and quickly load the store room.
Would hope that the company does regular maintenance: otherwise I am concerned that the climate-controlled space might get neglected too.

Very unhappy with the customer service
The move-in process was quick, but the weekend attendant never asked me if I needed a lock. Instead he just said, "Here, you'll need this." I thought you had to use their lock. Later looking at the receipt, I noticed the $15.99 charge. Once I arrived at my unit, we looked for a cart, which the website said is available. Not finding one, I called the office and was told that the website I was looking at was the main site, that not all locations have them and this one did not have them. I told him it most certainly did say that that location had carts, to which he said, "I'll tell my manager." This forced us to move a 16' foot moving truck into a middle interior unit one box at a time. The fact that the website said they had carts was the only reason I chose this facility. Also, the light fixtures in front of my unit and the one to the right had no light bulbs in them, making it very dark. Additionally, the facility was filled with dead bugs and a dead rat.
I went in to see the main manager the following Monday. He didn't care one bit. He didn't want to write my name and unit number down. He didn't offer me a refund on the lock I didn't need; he just said, "yeah, they do like to up sell the locks." He didn't want to look at the pictures of the light fixtures without light bulbs. And he blamed the lack of cleanliness on the weekend attendant being injured, as if it was a one day issue.
The moment I can get out of this unit, I will move out and not come back.

Wish they had a dolly or truck to move. Overall clean and friendly!
The facility was working with us through this rough time. Very nice and explained any questions I had. If anyone needs a unit, I will definitely refer this place.

Great Unit
The storage unit provides plenty of space for my belongings. The young lady who assisted me was very helpful and friendly. In addition there is a month to month option. The only downside is there is a mandortary $10 monthly charge for insurance tagged on to the price of the storage unit. It wasn't anything that was discussed on the phone beforehand. Just wanted to give everyone a heads up to add and additional $10 per month on to the price quoted by phone or seen on their website.

Very nice faculty. The manager is excellent!
I'm very pleased with this faculty. They do require insurance and you must buy from them, so your monthly rate will be higher than what's posted. However, their rates were still excellent. The on-sitr manager is friendly and very helpful.

Great drainage!
After many late summer rains, I was concerned that putting anything valuable in storage would be a poor idea. But, when we toured Simply Storage on North Indiana Ave. In Oklahoma City, the rain gathered and ran off leaving the units dry! Also, the manager was super friendly.

Every thing about Simply Storage is terrific. I would have preferred to know about the $22 one time administrative fee and the required/mandatory $10 per month contents insurance before I made the reservation and arrived with a moving van and two loaders on the clock.

Mary is Excellent
Two minutes after I terminated my phone call with Sparefoot I received a phone call from Mary, the Manager at the facility on North Indiana Blvd near Edmond. Mary was just fabulous: She was very knowledgeable about public storage. I really liked your facility. I liked the layout. The units that Mary showed me were clean; the property was well maintained; and the HVAC system works great for the Climate Controlled aspect of the property. I was really impressed. This is exactly what I have been looking for. Apparently, Mary has worked in the Industry several years and I appreciated what she had to offer. The day I visited your facility and met Mary was the first time I had ever driven around Oklahoma City, and was doing so to plan my move here. Mary offered much helpful guidance. Please give Mary a promotion to permanent on-site manager, and a raise and a special contract with free accomodations that go along with it - she deserves it!
