Storage mart

Well it kinda took awhile to "get situated" into my new unit. Also the inside unit has leak spots in the ceiling and it wasnt that clean. If 50 bucks is the only difference from being outside well i wonder how bad the outside is. Thought i was getting a good deal here. I might have to move out!

Frustration

The reservation process was fine. The confirmation email we received had the WRONG storage unit number and WRONG gate code. When we arrived with a truck full of stuff we could not entire at all. We had NO IDEA these numbers were incorrect. The guy working refused to do anything. Nope, your code doesn't match what you should have. When presented with their email that they sent us, he just said he had no idea how we could have gotten an email like that. We had to push and demand help. It took over an hour to resolve the mess because he treated me like some kind of criminal. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE skills at all. I would never recommend this place. EVER.

This was purported to be climate-controlled and it absolutely was not.

I specifically asked for climate-controlled units. I don't know whether it was Sparefoot or StorageMart that claimed this was a climate-controlled facility. It is not. A climate-controlled facility allows you to control the temperature and maybe humidity of the unit. The buildings at this facility are unheated or air-conditioned. The only possible reason they claimed it is because the door to the unit is inside the building. The unit itself is next to the outer wall and will pretty much be the outside temp. For a non climate-controlled unit I would give it 4-5 stars. For a climate-controlled unit it gets 0 stars.

Both of the employees I worked with were extremely kind and helpful. There are gates that are locked at all times and only those with a unit had a code to enter. They also offed an assortment of different types of locks right in there office.
