A little run down, no elevators, but a good value and staff was friendly.
I was a little shocked when I pulled into the property and saw how run down this storage facility was. There are no elevators. They have ramps instead, but do offer the use of dollys. When you arrive at the building your storage unit is in, the hallways look like they are 100 years old, and have had no maintenance since it was built. The floors are wood, and the hallways are incredibly tight. Once in the unit, there is no drywall on the walls, nor a light.
On the plus side, the individual who registered me was friendly, and quickly checked in. They have a lot of rules that need to be followed, and if you break any of them your charged a $50 fine, the value for price paid far out weights and of the negatives.

Online rental is not really clear about the door sizes when you rent , but the staff is very accommodating if you need to change the unit before moving in. If you have a chance take a look at your unit before, if the door size is a concern for you.

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE
As a return customer the way I have been treated by the facility managers at this location has been absolutely despicable. I rented here previously in 2022 and left after leaving the area for a couple months. No issues. I have no idea what happened to this staff but the people that work there now are passive aggressive, lazy, and downright disagreeable. I don’t think I’ve ever experienced such contempt from any staff member at any Trojan storage location EVER. And my error? Apparently even though the storage supposedly has office hours until 6 pm a staff member called me and begged me not to come in after 5pm (when I get off) because “there wouldn’t be enough time to process the paperwork”. So I’m like okay I’ll come Saturday. And they say sorry, we only honor your reservation for four days. And I’m like really? Then as soon as my hold expires on Wednesday they raise the price by $200. So I try to make a new reservation for a smaller unit now that I’ve been priced out of the 10x15- and finally it’s Saturday. I go to the office and say hey, I made a new reservation. They’re like under who? I give my name and they snicker and reply “yeah we canceled that, we’re not going to rent you a unit” and laugh to each other. I’ve never seen such disgusting behavior by employees. The management here must be nonexistent. Sad. Because I really enjoyed my previous lease here. Management must be reduced to hiring bottom of the barrel.

After been here for over 2 years I am walking out I had such a bad experience with the new manager he just wanted to be right and not apologize for something he was wrong of doing when I ask why was he getting upset and listen to what the customer had to say he said I’m too busy,I was super shock he has a very short temper very disappointed.

All of the 10 foot units are approximate and not 10 feet exactly.
Make sure to inspect your storage room carefully as we found dog poop and damage in our unit, after the fact.

Secure storage & friendly, knowledgeable & helpful staff!!
Upon my arrival I was greeted with a smile & given a tour of the grounds & the unit I was interested in. It's an older facility but maintenance does an amazing job. The place is extremely clean & in good repair. However: there is no climate control & the ventilation, although adequate, is less than desireable. When it is hot outside it is unbearably hot inside. The prices are average but there is a sign-up incentive that discounts the first 2 months. All in all a good, clean facility. But it was the staff that won me over. They are all courteous, friendly & sincere. They will bend over backwards to meet your needs. Great job guys!! Thank you!!

This is a terrible storage place, I usually dont leave negative reviews, but this place has many hidden fees, the staff is really not accommodating, they will not feel helpful at all. Had to store furniture after work before flying out of state for months, personel walked up to me and told me that I have a few minutes to leave before they lock me in the premises and will charge $50 for being there. I mean who does that?

Completely messed up my reservation
I reserved a 10'x15' over a week in advance and then moved all of my stuff from SF to LA in a 16' truck. Upon arriving I was informed that the room I had reserved was not available. After quite a bit of time (over 30 minutes) they put me in 2 smaller units (very inconvenient).
But!!! When I started to move stuff up the flight of stairs (no elevator) and larger units are upstairs (made no sense) and a direct 90 degree turn from the 3' ramp into a standard doorway. How could anyone load this way. After going back and explain the issue, they gave me yet another, yet still not what I wanted, unit. This had a normal roll up door, not a standard sized door, but was only 9'x10' so still required two units.
I show up the other day after witnessing a gentleman power washing the bay doors thinking to myself, "he has to be getting water all inside those people's units."
Sure enough, the next day, open my unit to find water all over my antique record player, musical equipment, power tools, stereo equipment, and cherrywood furniture.
Completely unacceptable!
After talking with the manager, he assured this practice would be stopped. Friendly people, but I seriously have to question their judgment.
Also, ANYONE can just walk onto the property during business hours.
This has been my unfortunate story and I am still waiting on my original, reserved 10'x15'.

I admittedly didn't expect storage to cost so much monthly, but as far as I know I got a pretty good deal here (didn't have time to shop around in the end!) So... so far, so good!

very nice until you sign the contract
the place is not very secure as anyone can walk in off the street and the gates seem to stay open for several minutes - I've driven up and find the gates open 50% of the time. even at closing - anyone can drive in - not all cameras work or point towards all areas of the compound. being next to the freeway - the city can at any moment open and inspect your storage for explosives - the heavy traffic of cars means the amount of dust and smog hovering over the compound is at the highest - inside an empty storage unit black dust is everywhere and will accumulate on your belongings. the staff falls back on there is "no cooling off" disclosure that they explain and is required to sign a list of items that are explained. however, if you have an issue the issue will go by the wayside because to rent a storage unit you cannot get out of any months paid in advance - lets say the first 2 when you move in. the staff went from being nice and helpful to instantly uncaring when i had an issue with the size of the door and location to my unit not meeting my needs. at the time of renting i was unaware that the doorway would pose an issue - within 10 minutes of signing the contracts then discovering this problem i spoke to the office and they said "no cooling off" - in other words - you can leave but you will not be refunded. i didnt like how inviting they were then uninterested to take steps to find me a unit that would work so I'm stuck and as a result am learning - ADVICE - before you rent a storage space - go look at a few without having to move - don't be stuck with a truck and have to find a space for your items - spend a few days driving around and looking - companies will barter with you when they know you are shopping around.
