Watch out for sudden increases in your bill!

I've rented here for a little over 2 years now, on auto-pay so my payment is always on time. I got a notice of a 37% increase in my monthly bill last month. I sent an email and got no response back, so I went into the office. The lady in the office said she sent my email off to corporate to be reconsidered and she'd call me once she heard back, and she said within probably 24 hours. I've not heard back from anyone yet and just got the invoice today for next month and it still has this outrageous increase showing on it. It would've been nice to have the call back I was told I'd receive, and even considered for a reduction of the increase to something more reasonable... I guess corporate greed just looks better to their corporate office than customer service for a loyal customer.

Smooth as Silk

I had been renting a unit at another storage facility when I moved out of state. They raised my rent two consecutive months in a row, and more than doubled my rent per month, not to mention I never received notice of the second increase. I took two days off work, came back to Colorado, and couldn't get into my unit. Apparently it was a computer glitch, but that was the final straw. Oh, and this was on my birthday. Not that that's a huge thing but it was the icing on cake. I had made a reservation with Mini U Storage, just in case, and I'm so glad I did. Location is convenient, views are spectacular, and the staff went way above and beyond to help me because I was seriously stressed out. They put a cart for me to use by the door, made sure there were door stops so I could easily bring my belongings in to the unit. I'm very happy with everything about this transition to Mini U Storage.

The customer service is great. They are very friendly and helpful. The unit is a bit smaller than advertised but everything fit. It was clean, but had snow build up directly in front of the door. It was just a bit of a tripping hazard while moving in and about the unit.

Debbie and Walt were so helpful and friendly. I am renting two units - one small climate controlled and a larger one for general items. I feel safe going over there too. The units were very clean and easy to load things into. I goofed and locked one of my units in the open position - not the way they showed me. They immediately called to let me know what I had done. I can't believe they even noticed it. I am so happy that I found Mini U and whole=heartedly recommend them.

I can’t say enough great things about this Mini U storage! Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Free moving truck rental for move in, free lock with unit, and I even got my first month free since I’m a AAA member! They also provide a 5% discount for setting up automatic payment. Staff live on the property for added security as well. Highly recommend to anyone as they have the best deals in town.

I was a bit annoyed at the fact that the standard insurance was just applied without even asking if I have homeowners or renters insurance (I do)...and I wasn't given the option of receiving a refund...all I was told is I'd have to call back next month with proof of insurance.

I was able to rent the space within minutes online and verified everything with the managers when I got to the space itself. Was able to set up automatic payments deducted directly from my checking which is very convenient to me. The location and size was perfect and definitely raised high enough that no moisture gets inside when it rains or snows.

It was by pure luck that I happened upon this place & I am sure glad luck was on my side. First off, the couple is just wonderful. I dealt specifically with the woman (Debbie I believe) couldn't be nicer. The office,units & grounds were in very nice condition. I moved in yesterday and spoke with Deborah on the phone before-hand. When I arrived, Deborah had the paperwork ready for me and they immediately showed me the unit. The unit was a perfect fit my needs and the price was half of what I was paying down the street. The customer service experience was great and they went above and beyond for me. They even gave us two free tickets to a Nuggets game! I moved to Littleton almost two years ago and I wish I would have used their facilities for the last two years instead of the place I had been storing before. PS - I like the $250 a month gift card raffle idea. I might have to incorporate it into my business too!! :)

Worked out great. The discount for online ordering was an excellent incentive that made Mini U more competitive than other players in the market. The facility was clean and ready to show when I arrived. The staff was polite, well organized, and had everything ready in a packet when I arrived. The facility also sits on a hill top and if you have seen the rainfall here in July and August, you can appreciate this.

I was prepared to be nickle and dimed when I rented a storage unit but I was pleasantly surprised.
