MOUSE DROPPINGS in Storage Units
I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS STORAGE FACILITY FOR PERSONAL OR HOUSEHOLD ITEMS.!! MOUSE DROPPINGS!!!!
Ive been renting a small unit at this location a few months. I bought a house in Wheeling and needed extra space to store household good, some personal belongings, bicycles etc. Sat Dec 6th I went to the storage get Christmas decorations and found unit had large amount of Mouse Droppings and items chewed frm mice! I didn't have time to deal w/situation that day so returned on Sun to go through everything & clean it out. To no surprise Mouse Droppings were throughout the majority of stuff.... i didnt feel comfortable keeping it. I had to get rid of it!!!! Simply Self Storage will not refund my Dec's rent. Mouse droppings here.. so you're better off keeping belongings in your garage or a shed if possible.

Comparing other repositories, I can say that this place is very conveniently located and has good cell to store things. The wait staff is very friendly and tries to help solve customer problems. The area is very clean.

I wish I knew about the monthly mandatory insurance beforehand. Maybe I was just careless reading the reservation documents, but I don't remember the mentioning of the mandatory insurance.
