Excellent customer service!

If you have ever moved everything you own hundreds of miles, then you know the nightmare. Mine began with trouble with the rental trucks not being available when and where they said they would be. Then because of that delay and underestimating how long it would take to load the trucks, we fell a day behind. We then made the drive across Utah and Wyoming during high winds. By the time we got to Ft Collins we were all spent. Then we reached the Storage Star facility. The staff new our situation and had stayed in touch through the whole adventure. They greeted us with compassion and understanding. So friendly! They both went so far out of their way to help us anyway they could. We told them how much we appreciated them, but I don't think they really know how much they helped. Storage facilities are all similar as far as their use,but customer service like this is rare. Thank you Annette and Danny. You guys rock!

Good customer service

I was stressed from moving & frustrated when I arrived at the storage facility to get the key, etc. and a sign on the door said they would be back in 30 minutes. They handled my frustration compassionately, explaining that only one person is working, and they needed a lunch break. NOTE: Call ahead if front desk help is needed. The price is good. The location is not convenient, but the facility is clean.

I appreciated the ease of entry, the security measures, cleanliness and the open space around the facility. Annette and Dan were both very accommodating and professional. I appreciate the use of the flat, metal dolly which moved things along much quicker than my hand truck that I brought with me. Overall, I would recommend this facility!

Relatively Easy Process

After getting recommendations, I called Storage Star to secure a small unit to store some of my daughter's college dorm items prior to her move in date. We are in Massachusetts and made the drive out for orientation and thought it would be easier to bring some of the larger items and store them to make the moving trip the next month easier. Very friendly and helpful, the facility is clean, easily accessible during off hours, the young lady that went over paperwork with me upon arrival was so kind, even though we cut into her lunch break a bit. I think my only complaint, if you can call it that, is the online booking process and call back time. The site kept getting hung up when I was trying to book a unit and when I called and left a message, took several days to get a response. That said, I think calls go to an outside call center and not the actual location, so I'm sure that could be the issue. I already planning to use Storage Star at the end of the school year to store her items for the summer.

Nice place but hard to access

The facility itself is clean and well kept, but there are some major problems. There is practically no parking. You have to park directly at the entrances, which hinders access to other renters. A moving van or two by an entrance and no one else can get in. You have to park next to the building itself, which can block others' storage units. A few parking spaces across from the entrances would give more room for people, even if they have to move their stuff just another 10 feet. There are only three carts and they're all small and not too sturdy. Getting access to the carts is impossible if it's after hours or the office person is away.

Store store on South College was everything I was hoping it would be in more of the prices are fair the customer service was above and beyond we had we had some traffic trying to get there and the person working extended their hours to make sure they can accommodate us it’s clean it while it would feel safe I overall five out of five in every way imaginable

They were great

We had a little bit of a rocky start with the phone call. However, they called me and wanted to make things better and to answer my question. I wasn't able to get ahold of them (I work whenever they called me and when I get off they would closed) but at least they tried multiple times. There was huge line when I got there but it moved pretty fast. The guy I talked to got us set up fast and was very friendly. He even allowed us to upgrade from a 5 by 5 to a 10 by 10 the day of. Overall it was a great time with customer service. It was amazing, storage unit is clean large etc.

This is a nice and new facility. Best value I could find and such an easy, no hassle reservation process. Customer service was great with friendly personnel who called to make sure I didn’t have any question prior to “move in”. They even had a dolly free to use to unload/load my belongings when I got there. Secure entry to the indoor units. I highly recommend this facility.
