Its a storage

Online reservation was a great and painless as i hate talking to people on the phone. Ladies at the front desk were nice and polite while explaining that my unit was next to the elevator that was out of service currently. The only negative situation that I have to say is don't buy a lock and think you can return it even if it hasn't been opened. They don't do returns. The big wigs at corporate should rethink this. Other than that my unit had a lot of dirt in it and the lock itself on the door is kind of messed up so you have to play with it for a minute just to get it to go in place to put a lock on it.

Your website said there was a loading dock which was not the case. Also one of the elevators was broken and there was only 5 carts for the 3 story building.

Excellent in staff, facility, and value

The facilities are secure and clean. The value is very good, certainly competitive rates. The staff is very helpful as well. The only thing I could mention to improve on is that I tried a couple times to check in in person, and found the hours were not always accurate for the office. After a couple calls, someone was able to check me in over the phone which was a very simple process, but if that was given to me up front as an option that would have been helpful. But now knowing that is an option, I'd highly recommend this place.

Jessica allowed my entire unit to be rained on and ruined

Do not ever put your things in this facility as state that yoor he items will be protected. Especially when they push their insurance plan I don’t write a report to help the consumer. This facility knew that they had a leak in their ceiling and it was raining on my interior unit all over my furniture and allowing things to mildew mold and parish. They never fix the issue while I was in California and I come back helpless. She/Jessica was not concerned and did not ever address the issue. She didn’t even offer to have my items moved while they assess the problem to fix that issue. They charge me $133 a month for ruining my home and furniture items. I’ve yet to receive a call from their district manager, Jessica which is completely useless, or their corporate office. The insurance they pedal for your unit have neglected to call me back as well. It has been a nightmare and I am stuck without furniture and ruined/molded other things that were absolutely necessary to try to restore. I had to buy a mattress that sits on my floor. and my child’s memorabilia. After being in California helping the wild fire victims I’ve seen everybody lose everything they’ve had so I’m thankful that I’m not a victim of a fire but all the things I get destroyed in fires such as photos pictures baptismal gowns, there isn’t a price for those things... those you can’t replace. I’m sitting helpless with this company AND now I’ve got to fight the insurance. Still no customer reach out plan or any kind of help to me. No one’s called me back aunt I’m about tired of taking it.

I arrived at the storage facility with a truck full of furniture just hoping a unit was available. One was! The gentleman there who assisted me (I wish I'd caught his name) at the Olive Rd./Davis Hwy location in Pensacola, Fl was incredibly helpful. The storage unit and overall facility is very clean and organized. I feel comfortable leaving my valuables there. I did forget a lock and this man promptly supplied me with one to use (lifesaver). Thank you for an overall great experience, I will recommend you!

Simply Storage called me to confirm my booking and talked me into upgrading to an 8x5 unit, For this they promised me a 50% discount for May. Now it is time to pay they have reneged on that deal and have hounded me for full payment. It is too late now as my college age son already has his stuff in there and is on his way to DC to stay with us. I would definitely not use this company or facility again as a matter of principle.

I did not end up getting the unit that I originally planned and thought I was going to get, but it worked out for the better because they were extremely helpful and were able to find me one a little larger and it didn't break my bank to rent it.
