Very good location
I arrived on the appointed day, but waited 20 minutes for a response to my texts. The young man who eventually signed me in was pleasant and helpful. Overall, Iâve had a good experience with Simply Self Storage.

Huge Facility
It looks small from the outside. but when you get in it is huge. They have RVs, boats, trailers and etc...
The facility is clean but try to get a map, this place is massive and you could get lost.
The price with insurance for a 10x10 unit is fair...

It was really tiny and it was clean and cool the gentleman that helped me was from different store .seeing as he was just thrown in that store for time being he was amazing.. dude . Price was high I felt .and I didn't like that you could on go to ur unit untill 10 pm I thought it was a 24 hour and it's not. Downfall for me

unit size
I didn't go to my unit. My movers did. They said the unit was really small for it being a 5x10 so I won't be able to go inside and get anything out. It'll do for now. Alicia at the front desk was wonderful!

The customer service is the bomb!
I just want to say that Crystal at Simply Self Storage (Palmetto, FL) was very attentive to my storage needs. She completed my paperwork in a timely manner, as well as informed me on how important it was to select an climate controlled unit if I intended to store electronic devices that had great value.
Just that knowledge alone might have saved me thousands of dollars in damaged equipment.
I can't thank her enough for that.
April at Simply Self Storage (Palmetto, FL)was a great deal of help and information to me finding out the availability of my storage unit. When she called me to confirm the appointment she was so professional. She was able to answer any concerns I had around pricing and billing. April definitely made the initial process of obtaining the storage unit a comfortable one. Thank you so much for the experience.

BEWARE ! False Sense of Security / Vandalized Twice
Claim they don't have problem BUT THEY DO !
No support/help - Difficult to contact, don't care or return calls,
Red 'call button' at door does nothing, 'security' gate often open.
Regular rate increases $10/month or more. NOT good.

Great, affordable, clean
The location is huge and has many storage spaces. The lower floors are climate controlled and the upper floor is not. We got a unit on the fourth floor. The elevator has AC so it makes it okay that our floor doesnt (it was cheaper). Its clean and the staff is nice.

Decent place, but was not informed that the day I came to sign paperwork would be my move-in day. I called ahead of time to find out if I could do paperwork early, and that detail was not mentioned. Nor was it addressed when I completed and signed the paperwork. Only as I was leaving the building did anyone tell me that I was able to move in that day, and not a week later as I had requested. And by then there was "nothing they could do".

I found it very convenient and clean and I like the security. The two issues that I have are the fact that I'm required to have insurance on my space. You should offer a waiver that the customer can sign and waive the insurance thereby fee you of any liability and helping to keep the cost lower for the customer, which leads to the second issue. I relieve the the price could be slightly lower and there should be either a 6 or 12 month contract to keep the price fixed for a certain period of time. That would help the customers without dropping a surprise on them.
