#4 rating because entryway into bldg is to small & elevator extremely slow!
My #4-overall review rating is only because the entryway to come into the building is very small especially if you have large furniture. And the elevator is extremely slow! And if there is more then one renter moving in at the same time that would be a big problem and very frustrating!!!

Misrepresented
Not sure this was the facilityâs fault or sparefootâs fault but I stated I was looking for a 10x10. That is what I was told via phone I was renting but when I showed up it was 2 5x10âs side by side. By warned, 1 plus 1 doesnât equal 2. The doors were smaller than they would be on a 5x 10 which made move in difficult. Also there were barriers outside the doors that were obstacles to moving furniture in. I wasnât made aware of either. Not pleased with result

Beware price changes
A few months after moving in, I get a notice saying my price is going up by ten bucks. Ok... then a few months later it goes up again. Now Iâm paying $59 a month for a 5x5 on the 4th floor of an aging building with a crappy elevator. Iâve asked about the price and I get ignored. Meanwhile the advertised public price for my unit is $34.
Iâm getting my stuff out this weekend and going someone the street. I suggest you do the same.

Easy access. the ramps are convenient although burdensome if someone else using them and you're lugging everything through the main entrance then ArOuNd to your locker or a blessing if you get to hog the convenient yet narrow. Clean and white, other storage owners are friendly. Manager/staff is nice and professional, if you need something or have a question, comment, concern, you know they'll be able to help.

Accomodating for my last minute move
I am appreciative of the services I was provided. My only concern is it was hard to figure out how to get in the storage area with the truck. There are no clear signs and/or instructions advising where to unload, park, etc. But once we were in, it was fine. Overall, thanks for accomodating.

It would have been helpful to have better wording in the Sparefoot website. The implication was that it would be first month free and $35/month. The reality is that it was 1st month free OR 1/2 price for three months.

You need more than one elevator and cart.
Also. There was a man with a bicycle who was taking rides up and down in the elevator the day I moved in so it took way longer to move in and cost me more money than planned with my movers.
Better surveillance needed for that behavior -elevators are not toys!

Rental rates were not fully stated at time of inquiry about costs to rent.
-- When rental rates were being finalized, then all of a sudden, there was an additional mandatory $10/month insurance fee. This was never stated when rates were being discussed , this is not an honest way to do business. Yes, I had a choice but was already to unload 2 vehicles and in a time constraint.
-- The storage room had a structural member in the middle back part of the unit which took space away from unit area, again I should have been notified of the obstruction. Basically paying for less space than stated.
-- Hope to receive a response!
