I had issues with storing my camper at a competitor's storage facility. I needed something quick and affordable to move it ASAP. Simply Self Storage was amazing! It was easy to make a reservation online with great prices. I received numerous emails reminding me of move-in day and phone calls letting me know what to bring in. I arrived shortly after open and Lisa was VERY friendly and helpful. She showed me the spot prior to doing the paperwork and gave me a tour of the place. The check-in and payment process was super quick and easy. The office was very clean and well-kept, and the property was organized and clean as well. Much better than my old facility. They are located conveniently off the highway making it easy to get to. Great security with a keypad entrance, cameras, and fence surrounding the property. Would highly recommend!

Hefty late fee during corona virus

I have a storage unit since 2016. Today I paid late, like many others, I sit at home because of the coronavirus. Money is tight. I felt deeply ashamed when I saw that they charge me a $20 late fee. I felt ashamed that I am working with a company like this. Well, I will change this as soon as I will be able to. When others help, when volunteers like me sew facemasks, they charge you a hefty late fee. I am not even mad, just very saddened.

Very disappointed felt like bate and switch

I was very disappointed. When I arrived there to drop off my fifth wheel. Somebody had parked in my spot. So I talk to Norm. Who seemed very disorganized. Didn’t seem to know his inventory. So he put me into another spot. I was just about to unhitch. When he told me I had to move to another one. Which I did. The problem was I needed to leave for Minnesota. And I was two hours behind. Leaving

I talked to Debbie before going in. She held the rental price till the 19th of the month for me. She gave me free rental until the first of the next month. She's very helpful and friendly helping me to get into my rental unit. She even escorted me to my unit to help me lock it up and gave me a ride back to the office. Thank you.

They were really helpful and very flexible with identification information

I couldnt find he location at first but once I did they took me even bough I showed up close to closing (you know how some stores are). I did t have my drivers license on me at the time but they let me use an alternate ID as a placeholder. Very inexpensive and you can even bring your own lock! Would definitely recommend.

Good but expect fees

Overall a good experience. Staff was very friendly, unit came with a light and power near by which was a surprise bonus. There were some unexpected fees and charges I was not expecting. There was an admin fee to sign up I think it was around $20 give or take, then there was a insurance fee which was $9 extra a month and mandatory until you show renters insurance coverage. There were additional fees if yoy needed 24 hr access or additional insurance as well as additional fees to call in your payments. I'm new to the area so I don't know if this is common but it felt like I was being Nicole and dined compared to my experiences with other storage facilities in CA. I also didn't get the 50% of my first month's rent, I got it off my second months rent and had to pay for first two months rent at once. Not a big deal but unexpwcted. Overall it was fine and conveniently located just expect to pay more than shown online.
