Joe is the Way to Go when renting from Federal!
I'd recommend Federal but only if JOE helps them!! He was phenomenal in his knowledge of the facility and the discounts! I had already called six different storage facilities and no one had any decent sized units available or any temperature controlled units. But Joe knew where I lived and the closest Federal storage facility. It all worked! The pricing was fantastic, the getting-into-the-unit was super easy and even though there were dead mice around, at least it was reflected in the reviews so I knew what to expect. Very awesome customer service guy - Joe!! Thank you very much:)

Clean and safe facility.
The facility is located in a safe area and is well lit at night. Reservation of space was quick and easy. The problem with the combo lock was corrected in a timely manner by a friendly representative.

Confusing, over-priced, open, self-serve
I had a rough start locating my unit. When I did, I found I had been given an incorrect combination for the lock. Customer service finally got it right the 3rd try but hung up on me before I could tell them. The top of the units are open to the other units by 8-12 in so not real secure and the price does not reflect the drawbacks.
