The best, great staff, & affordable
I was at public storage, the are the worst. If this was a game of chess. CubeSmart would be a king and Public Storage a Pond. I cannot say it better, your the best.

Good Value Storage

terms of contract unfair to customer
The service provided was amazing. Ivy is 10 plus in her customer service assistance. I was only puzzled about the increase the facility can do at will within the first 6 months of contract. It feels SO VERY wrong. It has forced me to pay in advance to avoid the fee. Super unfair.

Quick and simple with good service
I initllaity thought moving my stuff into storage was going to be a nightmare. I found a few places around the city that were overpriced and in the middle of nowhere, then I found CubeSmart. It was less then 20 minutes from my place, a good size, and totally affordable. With a quick call a customer service representative answered all of my questions and held a unit for me that I sheninformed me would not be rented out until I came to look at it. When I did come in the unit was spotless and we got a great deal.
Wonderful customer service, great location, and great price. There's not much more you can want.

A clean, accesibible and efficient system with cordial treatment.
A consider CubeSmart to be a clean and well administrated alternative to one's storage needs. Longer hours would be extremely helpful (10pm) even if the rates went up reasonably. Most working people can get to their storage till after 5 or 6.

Offers a great deal on storage for a quality unit. As with many storage units, some hidden terms (insurance, undisclosed restrictions on the 'free' move in). However generally very pleasant to deal with but with variation between some of the managers. Security looks good on the surface but it's a little bit of a facade. Units are relatively clean though some are better than others.

A good deal
If you live in Manhattan and don't want to pay the outrageous prices for storage in the city, you might try this CubeSmart location in the Bronx. It's clean and decent, and super cheap. Easy to get to if you have a car...just over the Madison Ave bridge.

I had to change my reserved /move in time and was not told I lost the promotional rate of $58 per month over the phone. So instead I pay $75 plus all the extras. The key was very expensive and was I was not reminded to bring a key and the facility location only offered $18 key. On our way to the unit we passed by three to 4 large units with open doors which appeared to be retail stores/ day time housing for groups of 5 or more people that hang out there to -- enjoy the AC? The unit floor was dirty and i had to ask for it to be cleaned as it was not offered.I felt I had experienced a bait and switch on the price - staff did not seem willing acknowledge my reservation during promo and pretended to not see prior res in afternoon when in the morning on phone they had the reservation. Desk people were polite but obviously do as they are told to rip off the move-in customer, not acknowledge I was an existing Cube Smart customer in Poughkeepsie NY . I didn't have the time to switch to Manhattan Mini Storage that day so I'm stuck until this fall with your creepy facility. I had planned to go to and from facility once a week to add and or take out items - the environment doesn't seem safe for any evening entry or exit. All in all -- I rate this place a 0 out of 5 stars. Looking forward to move out day!

i had to receive my delivery on Christmas eve. The staff were very helpfull with the delivery and accommodations. They even stayed overtime on Christmas eve to help with the accommodations!!! Great facility and staff!!

Good except for a terrible 2" lip getting into the "E" unit, which was terrible for getting a dolly loaded with boxes into the storage unit.

Customer Service
The representative did not want to help us because it may require her to go past her alloted time of pay. We rented with a competitor. The amount of time she spent arguing with us (about 20 minutes) was equivalent to amount of time needed to complete paperwork and move in.
