During the month of November, The Lock Up, a self storage company based out of Chicago, is giving away an Apple iPod Touch. In order to be eligible to win the iPod Touch, simple just visit The Lock Up’s Facebook fan page.
Well maybe not that simple, but here’s some instructions to make sure you’re entered into The Lock Up’s contest correctly. Facebook users sign on, and search for The Lock Up Self Storage’s fan page. The simply click on the “iPod Tough Giveaway” and click the “Like” button. From there use the dropdown menu to locate the nearest Lock Up Facility to you and click the “Go” button. You will be redirected to a photo of the storage facility, from there hit the “Like” button to be officially entered into the contest.
According to Andrea Carnes, Lock Up’s Vice President of Operations, “Facebook has really been a fantastic way to keep people apprised of our latest storage deals and campaigns such as the iPod Touch giveaway, as well as to garner any comments or suggestions they may have for us.”
If you’re like me you’ll want to pass along this amazing contest to your friends, so simple click the “Share” button to notify the rest of your Facebook community about this unique opportunity. The contest will run through the month of November and each location will have one winner, which will be announced on the Facebook fan page in early December.
Carnes said, “Our goal is to not just collect Facebook fans, but to gain a greater rapport with people across the country so we can tailor our services and special deals to their needs, no matter which facility they might be using.”
Lock Up has 30 self storage locations around the country, and the winner must redeem the iPod at the location they selected, within 30 days of the winner being announced. Even though there isn’t a location near me in Kansas City, we love passing along information about what our clients are doing to our blog readers and facebook fans, so if you’re located near any of these 30 storage facilities spend 1 minute entering in this contest to win an iPod Touch.
