Clean and convenient!
We moved to the Augusta area recently and needed storage for a year. The office staff was helpful and the location is great for us. We expect to need to access items in storage several times so having a close location was important.

Horrible Experience!
We were moving to the Augusta area, downsizing from a large home to a furnished rental. In speaking with the manager I asked if the property was accessible to a large tractor trailer moving van. I was told that moving vans come and go from the facility on a regular basis...it was not a problem. I signed a 12 month contract based on that information. The morning of our move into storage the driver, who has been in the moving business for 42 years called at 6:30 AM to tell us that there was no way he could access the property. We did scramble and find another climate controlled storage facility with proper access. Kudos to CubeSmart storage and their superb staff. In the end Alexander Storage wanted to hold us to the 12 month contract we signed even though they were not honest about the access. We negotiated paying them 2 months instead. Never, never, never use this facility!

It was clean and easily accessable. Had they not raised my rent $26 a month I would probably still be there.
Paperwork took close to an hour and then, after I left, they discovered it was wrong. That was too much time for something that should have been simple.
They use speciality locks that you must buy from them. They cost over $10 and are useless once you move out! They should have a return lock program!
Their advertising says only 1 unit left in all their available sizes yet when I moved out several days ago, 90% of the units were empty!

I have been thrilled with the facility at Alexander Drive Self Storage. Everything is very well built and secure. This is the best storage facility I have ever seen. I have a climate controlled unit and I'm so glad I am at this location.
