The customer service at this storage unit facility is the best that I've received in its class. I would dub Uncle Bob's the "Chick-fil-A" of self-storage, and I'm sure that anyone one from the South would understand what that means. They provided a swift, clean, and virtually hiccup free service, all while making me feel that my business was greatly appreciated.
Will I be referring Uncle Bob's to a friend? You bet!

Need more than one person working on a Saturday
Saturday morning was very busy with the one person running around receiving U-hauls, renting out U-hauls, helping customers with hooking up trailers, taking reservations for U-hauls, renting storage units, had to wait for awhile for storage unit to be unlocked before I could move in.

The man in the office was very friendly and extremely helpful (sorry I can't remember his name). The paperwork took a little longer than expected, but I think that was because the power was out in the office. This seems to be a very decent facility although prices have risen tremendously in the past 8 years. This is almost double what I paid at a comparable facility in Birmingham. I do appreciate the office help, though, and it does seem pretty secure. All in all I'm happy with Bob's.

I'm moving to Madison,Al from Newnan, Ga(south of Atlanta and I needed to find a climate control unit near where my sister lives. I asked her if she knew of a place she would recommend so that my items would be safe and she told me about Uncle Bob's since she has a unit there. I arrived late the evening of 23Jan13 after a long 6 hour drive & I thought I would have a long time doing paperwork. To my surprise it was done in a flash and everything was explained to me,etc. The gentleman was very courteous and professional. He even told me about the referral bonus coming our way since my sister referred me to Uncle Bob's. Any other storage wouldn't even tell you about this due they wouldn't want to give it and they expect the person coming in to know their policy! Kuddos to Uncle Bob's employees for being honest & up front about their polices even though the client didn't/wouldn't have known about the referral bonus. I cannot remember the gentleman's name that helped me on Wednesday, but I do remember that he did have greyish/white hair. I will let everyone I know that is looking for a storage unit where it's for a regular or climate control to go to Uncle Bob's ONLY!!!!

Excellent Service!
I did a fair amount of research online before visiting the storage facility. I found the rental rates to be comparable, if not less than the competing facilities in the area. The store and the unit were very clean and the manager (Eric) was incredibly courteous and professional. I rented a storage unit and a Uhaul and the whole process was efficient and painless. I will only need the unit for a few months, but if I ever have the need for another unit I will go back to this store.
