Storing stuff while home is being renovated
We're embarking on a home reno and needed to store a lot of stuff. We don't need climate-control, so my main consideration was price. I was delighted to find Gandy Mini Stor-It, which not only had the lowest prices (by far) but also has very positive reviews. The easy online reservation process only took a few seconds. The next day I went to the facility and met with Dave, the manager. After a golf-cart tour of the grounds, we returned to the office to sign a few papers. The unit is now all loaded up, and other than the fact that moving sucks :) it's been an excellent experience.

Just what I needed

Very fortunate to find this storage at this rate and quality location.
We received a very good rate through Squarefoot.com. Went visit the storage facility. Met David and Arlene which showed us the storage unit and made us feel welcomed. We got the unit. Impeccable cleanliness. So far so good.

It's what you want in a storage facility
Low price for a basic storage unit. Nothing fancy, but it's storage - it doesn't need to be fancy. It feels very safe and secured. The people there are great. In sum the units are inexpensive, safe, and stores things.

Friendly and made renting easy
The whole process took us about 20 minutes. We were able to setup auto-pay in that time as well. Staff was quite friendly and accommodating. The unit itself was VERY clean. The unit we had was freshly painted, and, it seems the rest of the units had just been painted as well. Great experience, good value for price, and easy access location.

insulation that was sprayed on the ceiling many years ago (40 years??) is falling off the ceiling onto the floor and on to stored items. This is not sanitary and probably unhealthy.

The sold my stuff after a month
I had to go out of town for a family emergency - I called a few days into the second month to settle up (30 days past due) for both months knowing I was behind. They were auctioning off my stuff.

I went online put unit on hold was very easy and fast. When I got there they had everything ready took about 5 minutes for paper work. We were shown the unit and the property, shown how the gate works in a very professional and friendly manner. If I ever need storage again I will be sure to come back here.

STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!! THE LOW RATES COME AT A HIGH PRICE
The manager Dave is CRAZY! We were trying to decide between a 10x20 and the 10x25. We don't need the unit until middle of June and when we tried to ask the 'manager' Dave about securing the 10x25 unit with a deposit he FLIPPED OUT. He told use to leave, get off his property and never return. Who knew that a normal rental practice like placing a deposit on a future rental unit space would cause a manager to start yelling. Asked to speak to the owner and they guy refused. As we were leaving this crazy person chased us down into the parking lot. He said that the owner as on the phone (LIE) and the owner told us to basically he didn't care and the Dave has been his manager for years so he was going to support him. SERIOUSLY...I've been a retail manager for years and have never been so disgusted in life. Not to mention more terrified in my life, I was extremely afraid of the Dave person when he snapped. STAY AWAY...After this incident I looked at the Google reviews and saw someone had a similar experience 3 yrs ago with DAVE...obviously HE IS THE PROBLEM.
