Rent rate doubled in three years
The facility is nice and the staff is very friendly and helpful. My issue is the rates are constantly going up, sometimes before the notification email is sent. My rate has literally doubled in three years. For that much, I'll have a shed built in the back yard.

It would be helpful if the climate control units had lights inside the storage units. It’s pretty dark. Also, flat bed carts would make moving in and out much easier.

Genuine, Quality Service
RightSpace storage has the best manager out of any facility I have ever been to. He was very friendly, fast, understanding and could do all this while juggling three other customers as well. The storage itself was very clean and safe. I believe I made the best decicion in choosing this location.

Happy with Great American Storage - Round Rock
Originally I was going to use the new Public Storage in Georgetown to store my stuff but their elevator was broken the day I was planned to unload my truck after driving all the way from Arizona. The manager there didn't know when the elevator was going to be fix and wasn't willing to adjust the price to give me an available unit on the 1st floor instead. This was really inconvenient for me because I had a limited amount of time to get things done. Luckily, I found Great American Storage last minute and they had one 10 x 15 available for a reasonable price.

Had a pretty great experience. Paper work took at most 20 minutes. Lady took me over in a golf cart to view the space. Space was clean and secure. Climate controlled environment inside. Only drawback was had to purchase special lock $13 and pay admin fee $20 though on top of original quoted price but are one time fees only at least. Great promo deal on price. Thank you!

Great American Storage of Round Rock was easy to work with at check in with Nikki, and then took me to see the unit in person and showed me how the lock worked while paperwork was printing. Friendly staff and secure facilities, plus a discount for a 6mo contract, made this a great choice for storing our house when we moved 1230 miles away.

Overall a good deal
I had unintentionally reserved a unit smaller than I needed, they were great about upsizing me. My only complaint is the locks. They make you purchase one that is good only on their units. No refunds, nothing. And I was not prepared for that expense either. Yes it is only 13 dollars, but for anyone on a budget, including me, every bit counts.

Fair price for promotion period
Good deal during the six month promotion. A couple of notes: you need to buy their lock ($8 no biggie). But you also have to pay $8 for their insurance. Not really a great deal since we have our own insurance anyway. Staff was nice and explained everything.

Thought the customer service was great! All representatives behind the counter greeted me at different. They all appear to like what they do so it shows in their attitude. My representative was exceptional accommodating. Whem moving into the unit the following day, she even came out to day to greet me! I took advantage of the specials you had online, so the pricing was reasonable.

Frustrating first day
Good knowledgeable folks at check in. When I went to the storage area, there was no hand truck. the young man helping me looked in 4 buildings and never found one. I finally left and had to return with my own truck. I was offered a 4 wheel dolly with a broken handle. And the temperature of the place was surprisingly hot. I am guessing 80;s. the place is very close to our new home, so the location is right.
