Customer for several years
I have been a customer here for several years on and off. I have always had a great experience. It.was very unfortunate when Bill passed away. I wasn't sure what to expect after that , but am very pleased with the young woman who filled the position. She is very nice and helpful. She does very well in managing the facility as it is always well kept and clean. In response to the negative comment, you posted this very shortly after the new manager was hired. As a business owner myself with several employees, I understand the transition of training someone to run new systems. You can't expect perfection. In my experience, I would gladly hire her. The facilities are very nice and the security and video systems are installed on the grounds. The prices and promotions are very good. I rent a larger unit and never had issues with bugs or rats. I would suggest more online advertising. I recommended this facility to a friend and he couldn't find it on craigslist when searching for storage units. Also maybe more attraction from the road as drivers go by. I'm in the advertising business so these things stick out to me.

I have no negative experiences here
Joined them several months ago and all contact(s) have been smooth without problems. They are very friendly and their costs are well below many others in our area. Thus far, the buildings are kept clean and I have yet to see a critter. Keep up the good work RSS

Mixed feelings....
When I setup my account with RSS, I found the on-site manager to be very friendly and it was clear that he had been in the self-storage business for many years. Sadly this man died quite suddenly just a few short months after I began doing business at this location. I did not know this when I opened my account with RSS, but apparently, they are a franchise/chain business and the main office is located in North Carolina or Virgina (?) somewhere? The corporate office brought in a young and somewhat ditsy-sounding girl to replace the manager that passed away and it was more than obvious that she has NO idea how to run a small business!!!! She is polite, but VERY inexperienced! I am now beginning to have second thoughts about storing my belongings in this facility. I am seriously thinking of moving out as soon as my contract is up in a few months. I just do not feel comfortable doing business at this facility any longer....
