I’m extremely happy about renting the unit at this facility is close to my house the property manager was so helpful and professional he took time to explain every aspect and detail he made my decision easy. I need to move out of my existing unit because the price was too high for me to afford.

No complaints thus far
Hector, on move-in-day, was very helpful and reminded me of the protocols. The dollies and flatbeds provided by the facility were EXTREMELY helpful. Though a little more lighting inside the unit would be beneficial, I can provide my own wireless lighting.

Amazing help in a clean facility
I was contacted within minutes of making my reservation. Carlos was very informative and helpful, he answered all my questions and was very reassuring about the safety and cleanliness of the building.The storage unit was very clean and perfect for my needs. Had a very pleasant experience.

Quick and Easy

Clean, Best customer Service and Value for your money
Maryanna won my business with her awesome customer service. She answered all my questions and reassured any concerns I had about leaving my most prized possessions in storage. The facility in Ridgewood NY is clean, updated and has a vast array of supplies anyone needs for their moving and storage needs. I will definitely feel comfortable using any of Safeguard Self-Storage facilities again and I would highly recommend the Ridgewood location to family and friends.

Excellent and affordable for the time being
The move in went well be prepared for a lot of ID verification, the people are courteous, and professional, there is only room for two vehicles at a time first come basis other than that I had a pleasant experience.

Very friendly and accommodating
I received a phone call within 3 minutes of my reservation! When I went to check out the facility, I inquired if I needed a larger room based in availability if they would honor a competitors rate which was lower, and they were happy to accommodate such. Overall a great experience. And the customer service rep., Maryann was awesone!

The customer service is great over the phone as well as in person. The place is surprisingly clean. It might be a new facility.
The storage unit is extremely clean. It seems like it's a new facility. Location is great. It's close to the L train off Halsey and M train off Seneca. The customer service is wonderful both in person and over the phone. And most importantly, the price is great by New York standards. However, there're a few hidden fees, which kinda sucks! But overall, I had a great experience.

Smooth Move
After researching area storage facilities, Safeguard offered the best deal for my needs. I reserved my unit and showed up Saturday afternoon. Mgr was very pleasant, professional and attentive. She showed me the storage room, security features and access procedures. Paperwork was done in 15 minutes and I placed my items in storage using their convenient carts. 2 comments I have is that the loading bay can only accommodate 2 vehicles at a time, so you probably want to show up early if you have a lot of stuff to move. It's also not a 24hr facility, so you need to plan your visits if you want to go after work or on weekends. But the place is clean, well-lit and the security cameras / unit monitoring system is reassuring. Overall, I'm very satisfied with my choice.

My belongings never felt safer!
My belongings feel so safe at this facility. I basically have been renting a room for the last couple of years and met my roommates through online ads. These weren't people that I grew up with and a few of them stole things.
Now, I can rest peacefully. My belongings are actually safer there than at my own apartment. I don't keep all of my things there but I do trust this facility to protect my most valuable belongings.

The manager here is very combative, unhelpful, and is unable to admit mistakes. She did not want to give me the price I agreed to on SpareFoot.com. She does not belong in the customer service field in any way. I am writing a letter to the company about her behavior.

They showed me the unit I had reserved, then helped me find one that would be even better.
