Clean, well lit, and great managers
I have been a renter with Trojan Storage for 7 months. It was a bit confusing and communication mix-up when Trojan Storage took over America's Self Storage. Things got worked and now everything is all good. Property is clean, well lit, cameras, and employees are nice and friendly. I do recommend renting here.

EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE!!! I have been a client of this facility for over 5 years. I have been witness to many changes, and without a doubt, the current management, Trojan by name, and it's employees, to be specific, Wayne Gordon, Manager, by far have been the KINDEST and MOST PERSONAL!!! I had contemplated re-locating my unit to another "larger name" facility because I no longer live in Ventura County but moved to San Diego, that's about 200 miles away, but have decided to keep my unit where Wayne is the man, Trojan is the place!! IF YOU CARE ABOUT WHAT YOU STORE, LOOK NO MORE! I welcome and even challenge anyone who claims any other opinion!

I have been with this facility for over 3 years and have had nothing but pleasant experiences with them. Now that they are under different management I am even more pleased both Wayne and Grace have been so nice and helpful anytime I call and explain thing thoroughly. I recommend Trojan Storage to anyone who is looking for a place.

Great Experience!
I have had the storage facility for some time and when it was taken over by Trojan and Wayne and fellow employees arrived on the scene, I felt I was totally taken care of and the staff is always friendly and nice. They are always courteous and helpful, especially the Manager, Wayne. I would recommend this facility as one of the best around since Trojan took over. Keep up the great work!

Great Service, Clean facility, always courteous and helpful
We have been with this storage facility for over 2 years. The friendly and courteous staff and service we receive have been greatly appreciated. We have had the pleasure of meeting and talking with Wayne and his wife Grace on several occassions and know that these are the type of people you want running your storage facility. I have and will continue to recommended this storage facility to my customers and friends.

My first visit to Trojan Storage was at the time they were transitioning from the previous owners and it was chaotic to say the least. I overheard several horror about how the property had been run from customers who had seen it all and I was apprehensive to say the least. I was in a bind and had to get the storage and I am so glad I did. Wayne and the entire staff have always been mindful of my needs. They explained everything perfectly and made the whole process very simple. In just a couple of months I have seen an amazing transformation of the property. New security cameras everywhere, door alarms, more interior lighting, and huge security monitors in the office. As a single woman who frequently comes to my storage alone I need to feel safe. Oh I almost forgot to mention what an awesome deal they gave me

I had stored with Trojan Storage of Ontario from 2008-2010 and was very happy with everything. Recently I got transferred to Ventura county and was surprised to see that they had another facility in Oxnard and even more surprised when I found out that Wayne the manager from Ontario was now the manager in Oxnard. I have stored many times thru the years and have never dealt with a company better ran than Trojan Storage. They always have the best prices, the cleanest facilities, and the best management. Keep up the great work

DO NOT use Trojan Storage
The employees at Oxnard storage on Eastman are unprofessional and very uninformed of their own policies. I was told a 30 day notice was required and I gave that notice on 9/4/2011 by dropping a letter in the mail slot because it was a Holiday. I did not receive a callback and had to call 2 days later to confirm my letter was received. AT NO TIME did the employee bother to tell me that the 30 day notice would put me into the next month and that I would have to pay an entire extra month for the 4 days I was into October. The manager, Wayne, is rude and said he is just going to tell corporate to send me to collections while I am trying to talk with him and explain the situation, total lack of respect. An employee yesterday told me "we dont actually need a 30 day notice" which is contrary to what I read in the agreement. I gave my notice in writing as it requests. A simple 10 second explanation by the employee who answered when I called to make sure my 30 day notice was receive would have saved a lot of frustration on everyones part. I've been using the Eastman Trojan storage location for 3 years and I think the simple courtesy of being helped adequately would have been proper. I found it unusaul a few month back when an employee came running after me chasing me down to ask me if I was driving a 2 door car and "snuck" through the gate especially when I drive a 4 door SUV and had put in my gate code. The whole place is dirty and your unit is not well lit. A light come on but goes off after 90 seconds and you have to walk out and down the hall to get it to come back on. Do NOT rent here, go somewhere else where the staff is properly trained and the manager is competent.
