Clean, dry, friendly knowledgeable staff
We needed to find a storage unit pronto (partly due to error on our part). We had a truck full of furniture from kid's grandparent downsizing. [Due to error and mixup on our part] we needed to find a space on Sunday -- after 4 pm. I filled in the online reservation for the size we needed. Being AAA members helped lower cost for 1st month.
When I arrived on Monday morning, Jen already had initial paperwork printed out. Paperwork took a little time to fill in, but it was all very straight forward & easy to understand. (NO pages of small-print legalese, as we'd seen from another place.)
Building and storage unit was clean. Unit is dry (I had looked at some that smelled musty, so you know that those have dampness issues). Framingham Self Storage is clean and dry.
OK, access hours are limited... to when staff is in the building. My kids assured me that wouldn't be a problem -- this is long term storage for us (1 years probably). On the other hand... access hours are when there is staff in the building, so I'll feel safe & won't worry if I need to access the unit alone.
Main hallway lights are on, other lights are on a timer, easy enough to turn on.
Slots for locks are smaller diameter than some (neither lock I'd bought elsewhere would fit), but they do sell both disk locks and padlocks at a reasonable price.
Assuming monthly auto pay on credit card goes smoothly, we are VERY satisfied

Fast, convenient and efficeint
This is the 2nd time that I have rented with Framingham Self storage, and it's just as easy and efficient now as it ever has been. The prices are reasonable, if I could change any 1 thing about it, it would be their hours I would extend them a bit in either direction, particularly on Sundays.

Standard Storage - Hours are tight
They have 6 carts for the entire facility, so that creates a challenge. They have business hours that are very short - not ideal for moving. Very friendly staff

Facilities were fine. Great customer service.
I was showed my unit and explained what I was bringing in. The woman at the desk was extremely informed, organized, and accomidating, and actually got me into a smaller unit which ultimately saved me money. I would definitely recommend this place to a friend.

easy access and helpful staff
I met with Jen at Framingham Self Storage and described the items I would be storing. She suggested a 5x10. I have never used a self-storage facility before so she explained how everything worked: moving in, access, monthly fees, etc... She showed me a 5x10 so I knew what to expect, how the latch and locks worked, and I filled out paperwork. The whole process took about 20 minutes.
On move-in day, I arrived ahead of the truck and spoke to John, the facility's manager. I opted for their insurance rather than going through my homeowner's policy for a modest fee. I reiterated the type of items I would be storing, feeling nervous the unit would be too small, and he assured me it would accommodate everything. The unit was fairly close to doors so the guys were able to unload the truck quickly, and indeed, everything fit with a little bit of extra space.
Framingham Self Storage is easy to get to, being just of route 135; there is plenty of parking, and multiple building access points. The interior was clean and their rates are very reasonable. My stuff has only been in storage for a few days, but I feel confident and comfortable with storing my belongings with Framingham Self Storage.

I would recommend this faciltiy. It seems to be a safe facility to store belonging in. The unit was clean when we opened it. The man who checked us in was very friendly and showed us where the unit was and how to work the different aspects of the facility.

Facilities were ok, but customer service was... unusual
We arrived ~45 minutes before the facilites were supposed to close. The man at the desk said that we could not move in anymore. (Even though we had received conflicting information over the phone the previous day). He eventually relented, and we were able to start the moving in process. But over the phone, we had been told that we could use a credit card as a form of ID, but the man said that this was not correct. The moving in process was not as easy as we hoped it would be.

This location does need to review/correct some issues with the exterior roll-up doors. One roll-up door allows direct view of the vertical/rectangular latch-bolt from outside (easy cut). Also, at least (4) customers had left their property rooms incorrectly locked; by locking the property room latch while it was fully open. Customers need better training on how to lock their property storage rooms.

I would not recommend Framingham Self Storage. Access hours are poor, the paperwork to sign up is ridiculous, and they are inflexible. Beware if you sign anything with them.

when we go there the attandant sits behid his desk while we try to oopen locks to enter the building (he gives us the keys etc . . .) Not exactly professional
buzzer entrance system fails each time
and overhead doors are secured by pad locks - not convenient
