DO NOT RENT HERE!
The property is old and not well kept. The unit itself leaked water and allowed a wheat fields worth of dirt to come in and ruin my belongings. To top it all off the "Manager" is extremely rude and always "out of the office" when I tried to voice my concerns. I will be filing a Better Business Bureau complaint, as now reading through their so called contract they have no liability for their roof leaking and ruining our possessions. We have used Spare Foot in our native New York and it always produced good results, not so much in this case. If I was SpareFoot, I would suggest not allowing this faciltiy to be on your site.

We are very focused on our customers’ satisfaction, and we regret your storage experience was unpleasant. Our property is exceptionally clean, and we work diligently to maintain the facility for the benefit of our customers. Drive-up exterior units have direct exposure to the ever-present West Texas wind, and most of our storage customers take our suggestion to purchase plastic covers over their property to mitigate dust accumulation in these value priced units. We also offer interior dust control and climate control units which provide a nice environment for stored property. We are not aware of a water leak in your unit nor do we see an indication of a leak, but we will immediately investigate our roof system. Our self storage lease is the standard contract sanctioned and provided by the Texas Self Storage Association, and it was not amended or revised for your unit. The lease requires insurance on stored property in excess of $1,000, and we note your lease file contains your written acknowledgment rejecting our insurance plan and to assume the risk of any damage to your property. If our property manager is temporarily out of the office assisting other customers, we have posted a permanent sign providing an emergency service phone number which is answered 12 hours each day. Unfortunately, we do not have a record of receiving a call from you regarding your issues. Thank you for your feedback, and our goal will continue to be to provide the best storage value in Amarillo!
